According to IDC research, fewer than half of European SMBs are ready for GDPR, leaving them vulnerable to penalties worth up to four per cent of revenues. Organisations will be desperately looking for a trusted advisor to guide them through the opaque and confusing world of data privacy and compliance.
The regulation will often require companies to make huge investments as they install security systems, implement new processes and educate and train their staff around the regulation.
And who better to help them than the channel? In a Channelnomics Europe survey carried our last year, more than a fifth of organisations that participated said they’re planning to work with an MSP in the future, with a massive 76 per cent currently not working with an MSP around GDPR.
